Toromont Cat offers a full-time, permanent Apprentice Technician position for candidates enrolled in or completing Heavy Equipment Technician studies. When not in school, you will learn on the job with experienced, trusted Technicians. Your work supports customer equipment repairs, mechanical and electronic diagnosis, accurate service records, and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair Caterpillar and other equipment brands for customers
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems
- Operate Caterpillar testing equipment for troubleshooting
- Complete service reports accurately and promptly
- Support efficient, knowledgeable customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Current enrollment in post-secondary Heavy Equipment Technician studies
- Completed post-secondary Heavy Equipment Technician program accepted
- Commitment to safe and healthy work behaviours
