The Technology Partner serves as the dedicated Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and strategic relationship manager between Corporate Functions—specifically focusing on Corporate M&A and Integration—and the broader technology organization across Corporate Technology Services (CTS) and Global Technology Services (GTS). Positioned within the Enterprise Solutions & Services pillar, this role bridges business strategy and technology execution by establishing formal demand intake, crafting robust business cases, driving vendor Statements of Work (SOW) execution, and leading technology due diligence and post-merger integration.

Key Accountabilities

  • Single Point of Contact & Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary SPOC for functional and M&A leadership, enabling business executives to seamlessly navigate GTS and external vendors while building trusted advisory relationships.
  • Demand Intake & Business Case Development: Establish and operate a structured demand intake framework, creating ROI models and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses for new technology investments to defend through governance gates.
  • M&A Due Diligence & Technical Assessments: Lead technology due diligence, technical risk assessments, and integration business cases for target corporate acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures in partnership with corporate M&A teams.
  • Strategic Roadmapping: Build multi-year business technology roadmaps aligned with corporate OKRs, identifying capability gaps, application redundancies, and workflow optimization opportunities.
  • Vendor Management & SOW Execution: Partner with Procurement, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, and Tech Leads to evaluate vendor options, draft RFPs/RFIs, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee SOWs, TSAs (Transitional Service Agreements), and milestone deliverables.
  • Regional & Day-1 Integration Leadership: Partner with Regional IT Leaders (Canada, US, EMEA, APAC) to oversee Day-1 readiness, employee device onboarding, IT support alignment, network/security connectivity, and legacy system migrations.
  • Solution Architecture Collaboration: Work closely with Tech Leads across Enterprise Platforms & Operations (Workday, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, Corporate Analytics) and GTS teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Value Realization & Delivery Alignment: Track post-implementation metrics against business cases to validate ROI, while partnering with delivery squads (Lead BSAs, Developers) to maintain backlog prioritization and change adoption.

Must Have(s)

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business technology partnering, IT relationship management, senior business systems analysis, or IT consulting supporting enterprise corporate functions.
  • Direct hands-on experience leading technology due diligence, post-merger integration (PMI), TSA contract structures, cross-border data privacy considerations, and legacy system migrations.
  • Demonstrated track record of authoring executive-level business cases, conducting CAPEX/OPEX, ROI, and TCO financial modeling, and defending funding requests.
  • Proven experience participating in vendor procurement cycles, drafting and reviewing SOWs, defining vendor SLAs/milestones, and managing third-party delivery risk.
  • Expertise in establishing formal demand management frameworks, product roadmapping, and outcome-driven OKR governance.
  • Exceptional capability in translating complex technical concepts into business language and managing senior executive relationships.

Nice to Have(s)

  • Exposure to or experience working alongside platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, or Enterprise Corporate Analytics suites.
  • Experience coordinating cross-border IT alignment and regional leadership across global regions (Canada, US, EMEA, APAC).
