- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk, and report progress clearly to clients and leadership.
- Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning activities across multiple contractors, multidisciplinary consultants, and internal specialists.
- Manage outage planning, shutdown windows, and operational constraints in close collaboration with client operations teams.
- Oversee procurement, change control, and contract administration, including tender support and vendor performance.
- Plan construction phases around equipment delivery, operational constraints and utility requirements, with a focus on maintaining uninterrupted service.
- Ensure health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements are understood and met across all phases of work.
What you bring:
- 10 years+ of project management experience on complex infrastructure projects, with significant experience in the energy or utilities sector.
- Knowledge of Canadian codes, standards, and regulatory requirements for energy infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects in or around live, operating electrical or energy facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk management.
- Experience managing multi-party delivery teams, including owners, consultants, and contractors.
- Familiarity with various delivery models, procurement, tendering, and contract administration in a public or regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders and technical audiences.
