As Technical Documentation Manager, you will lead the Technical Publications team and evolve its vision, processes, technologies, and capabilities. The position requires technical understanding, structured authoring, content reuse, and documentation lifecycle management. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and Product Support to support Tigercat's global customers and expanding product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop writers, illustrators, and documentation specialists
- Manage workloads, priorities, resources, and publication assignments
- Oversee manuals, catalogs, labeling artwork, bulletins, and digital content
- Establish metrics, standards, workflows, and quality assurance processes
- Modernize delivery through automation, reuse, and digital publishing
Requirements:
- Minimum five years' technical documentation or related experience
- Leadership experience managing teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
- Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, mechanical, or heavy equipment environments
- Proficiency with documentation platforms, content systems, publishing, and illustration tools
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field
