AbleLiving Services, part of Thrive Group, operates the York supportive housing program in an apartment setting. This position provides non-medical personal support, light housekeeping, and appointment assistance. Previous caregiving experience is welcome, while Personal Support Worker certification is an asset rather than a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical personal support services to clients
- Assist clients with personal care needs
- Provide life-skills support for independent living
- Arrange and escort clients to appointments
- Complete light housekeeping duties in clients' homes
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Flexible availability for days, afternoons, and nights
- Availability every other weekend and statutory holidays
- Previous caregiving experience is beneficial
- Personal Support Worker certificate is an asset
