Read music and operate PowerPoint supertitles for Edmonton Opera’s Candide performances in Edmonton. This contracted position covers rehearsals and theatre performances. The Supertitle Cuer reports to the Director and Assistant Production Manager. The work takes place at the Opera Centre and Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. You will operate the supertitle slideshow for all rehearsals and performances, following orchestral music throughout the production. Key Responsibilities:
Operate the PowerPoint supertitle slideshow during rehearsals Operate supertitles during all scheduled theatre performances Follow along with orchestral music during productions Report to the Director and Assistant Production Manager Requirements:
Experience reading music and following orchestral music Basic knowledge of PowerPoint Ability to climb several flights of stairs Willingness to follow Edmonton Opera health and safety policies Apply music-reading and PowerPoint skills as a Supertitle Cuer supporting Edmonton Opera’s Candide production in Edmonton theatres.
