The Retail Associate will be responsible for greeting clients, selling and recommending retail items, assisting with checking in equipment to be repaired, providing guests with further knowledge and related options.
The Retail Associate must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients.
They must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve to effectively deliver to internal and external customers.

- Greet guests with a positive attitude and answer their questions as required.
- Restocking inventory.
- Calculate bills, collect payments and make change for guests.
- Cash handling and basic cash management.
- Clean and tidy department areas.
- Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
- Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
- Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, and suppliers.
- Observe and report any security issues to the Owner.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in ski retail is an asset
- Experience in customer service
- Previous cash handling experience is an asset
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients to then offer the appropriate options, solutions, or resolutions within outlined policies
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Professional appearance and manner
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Work Conditions
