Part Time Ambulatory Float Registered Nurse

Deliver ambulatory nursing care at UKH Olathe Pavilion Main Campus through assessment, documentation, triage, and clinical procedures. This is a part time opportunity.

The Ambulatory Float Registered Nurse provides professional care in the clinic setting at the highest level of training. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, accurate documentation, patient education, and care team coordination. The position supports comfort, well-being, efficient flow, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, document, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and review medications
• Perform injections, spirometry, and EKGs as needed
• Respond to triage calls, messages, and walk-in concerns
• Coordinate care teams, records, supplies, and patient follow-up

Requirements:

• High school graduation and Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current active multistate or qualifying single-state RN license
• Basic Life Support Heartsaver certification through the American Heart Association
• Basic typing and word processing ability
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
