The Salvation Army seeks a Chaplain to deliver faith-based care within its services. You will complete spiritual assessments, coordinate religious programs, collaborate across faiths, and support case management. The work serves people with diverse backgrounds and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual care and document individualized care plans
- Coordinate chapel services, worship events, and Bible studies
- Collaborate with chaplains from other faith backgrounds
- Participate in Edmonton Centre of Hope case management
- Respond to emergencies and conduct memorial services
Requirements:
- High school graduation
- Ordination and Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent
- At least two years' pastoral care or chaplaincy experience
- Experience supporting vulnerable populations and mental health concerns
- Empathetic communication and strong professional boundaries
