The Salvation Army seeks an associate for ongoing retail operations at its thrift store. You will provide courteous service, process donations, complete transactions, and maintain organized merchandise. The position supports sales targets, customer enquiries, inventory control, and store safety. It reports directly to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and donors courteously
- Process, sort, price, hang, and store donations
- Complete cash and debit transactions accurately
- Replenish sales-floor inventory and support displays
- Maintain safe, clean, organized store areas
Requirements:
- Completion of some high school coursework
- Cash handling and cash register experience
- A few months of customer service or goods-processing experience
- Ability to lift up to 29 pounds frequently
- Monday to Sunday availability
