Lead fundraising events and corporate partnerships at The Royal Conservatory in Toronto, using sponsorship strategy and donor cultivation in a hybrid arrangement.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Development, this Manager develops revenue plans for flagship and other fundraising events. The position carries corporate partner and individual donor portfolios while coordinating relationship managers, volunteers, agencies, and internal teams. Its purpose is generating philanthropic and sponsorship revenue aligned with RCM's priorities, mission, programs, and audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual event revenue and corporate partnership plans
- Execute sponsorship, donor, ticket, and table revenue strategies
- Cultivate, solicit, renew, and steward event donors
- Coordinate committee fundraising plans and volunteer assignments
- Forecast targets, pipelines, risks, and revenue opportunities
Requirements:
- Five to seven years of relevant fundraising or event revenue experience
- Success securing sponsorships, gifts, partnerships, or event revenue
- Experience managing complex portfolios and ambitious revenue targets
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Proficiency with Raiser's Edge and Microsoft 365
