Join Canadian Royalties Inc. as an Underground Mechanic in Northern Quebec. This role focuses on diesel and hydraulic equipment maintenance, ensuring efficiency on-site with a 14/14 rotation schedule.
In this position with Redpath, you'll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diverse equipment, including compressors and drills. Your mechanical expertise will diagnose issues and conduct repairs to ensure optimal performance. You'll be working in a remote camp environment, operating in teams to maintain safety and equipment integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement solutions
- Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records
- Test equipment to meet manufacturer specifications
- Train and mentor apprentices in mechanical procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of underground mechanical experience
- Journeyman level qualification preferred
- Competence in Texa & Cat ET Diagnostic software
- Knowledge of WHMIS legislation and safety procedures
- Familiarity with underground equipment regulations
