The Lighthouse – Le Phare seeks a therapist experienced with children and youth for an ongoing independent contractor opportunity. You will support clients during a planned 12-month absence while receiving new referrals as your practice develops. The work addresses anxiety, depression, family relationship difficulties, and school challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide developmentally appropriate therapy to children and youth
- Support suitable existing clients during a planned leave
- Receive new child-and-youth referrals as practice develops
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to individual needs and goals
- Offer primarily in-person appointments in Kemptville
Requirements:
- Active registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children and youth
- Sound professional judgment and clear communication
- Appropriate professional liability insurance
- Some afternoon or evening availability in Kemptville
