This Housekeeping Supervisor role connects room attendants, Housemen, Front Desk, management, and guests. You manage daily inspection checklists, prioritize rooms by check-in and stay requirements, and change statuses through in-room phone systems. You train staff, resolve team conflicts when necessary, organize supplies and storage, and assist during peak periods or emergencies. Guest service remains central, including prompt responses and special attention for VIP rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect inspection checklists and prioritize rooms for review
- Coordinate housekeeping activities with Housemen and Front Desk
- Maintain linen storage, distribution, and inventory accuracy
- Support managers with daily projects and emergency situations
- Ensure VIP rooms meet specific guest requirements
Requirements:
- Two or more years of hotel housekeeping experience
- Detail-oriented approach to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively
- Physical stamina for bending, lifting, and extended standing
- Willingness to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts
