Reporting to the Regional Director, the Director of Human Resources serves on the Senior Management Team. You will oversee HR operations, guide leaders, develop the HR team, and support organizational priorities. The position emphasizes employee experience, inclusive culture, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Align human resources strategies with organizational and operational goals Lead, coach, and support the Human Resource team Advise leaders on people management challenges and needs Develop and improve HR programs, policies, and practices Oversee employee relations, payroll, HRIS, records, and compliance Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Eight or more years of human resource management experience Industrial sector experience preferred In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and legal regulations Strategic planning, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills Bring HR strategy, relationship building, and sound judgment to Cermaq Newfoundland’s Marystown operations as Director of Human Resources.
