Reporting to the HR Manager, this full-time position supports TNDC's operational priorities and people strategies. You will integrate contemporary HR practices with Tahltan culture, values, and Indigenous ways of knowing. The work includes recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, leadership development, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and coaching
- Align people strategies with operational priorities
- Support recruitment, workforce planning, and onboarding
- Coach managers on performance and employee engagement
- Guide employee relations and respectful workplace practices
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum five years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of employment legislation, policies, and best practices
- Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
