As a Sign Maker and Installer, you will create clear signage for terminal operations. The work combines sign fabrication, Adobe Illustrator or FlexiSign layouts, on-site installation, and signage maintenance. You will coordinate requirements with internal stakeholders and external partners while meeting YVR standards, branding, regulatory, and wayfinding requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather signage requirements, timelines, and specifications from internal stakeholders
- Prepare layouts and artwork meeting YVR and regulatory standards
- Fabricate indoor and outdoor signage using shop equipment
- Install signs across terminal, airside, and groundside areas
- Maintain inventory, documentation, tools, audits, repairs, and updates
Requirements:
- At least one year of sign-making experience
- At least one year using computer graphics programs
- High school diploma or equivalent training and experience
- Proficiency with plotters, printers, hand tools, saws, and cutters
- Ability to lift materials, use ladders, and install signage
