As a Registrar Services Specialist, you will provide integrated support across admissions, registration, records, fees, and financial aid. You will answer student questions, explain policies, process forms, and protect confidential records under FIPPA. The position requires collaboration with Financial Aid Advisors, Academic Advisors, Admissions staff, and other college departments. Your work will help students navigate academic and financial decisions while maintaining accurate service information and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve students, staff, and visitors in person, by phone, and virtually
- Explain admission, registration, academic, fee, and financial aid information
- Process forms, records requests, enrolment confirmations, and financial aid documentation
- Log service interactions and maintain student-facing resources
- Refer complex inquiries to appropriate advisors, departments, or services
Requirements:
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in a related discipline
- Five years' working knowledge of college policies and financial aid programs
- Knowledge of Ontario Student Assistance Program requirements and processes
- Highly developed verbal, written, advising, assessment, and conflict resolution skills
- Training in service delivery, quality standards, or peak period management
