Support Fanshawe Falcons athletics through facility operations, varsity events, equipment maintenance, and safe sports venues in London, Ontario. This is an in-person position.
As Athletics Facilities and Events Officer, you will support daily Athletics program operations under the Director of Athletics. Your work includes varsity game-day coordination, facility planning, equipment administration, risk management, and student employee training. The position operates Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate varsity home games and coordinate visiting team requirements
- Plan venue setups and take-downs for athletics events
- Inspect facilities, fields, courts, equipment, and uniforms
- Initiate work orders and maintain safe operational conditions
- Coordinate equipment procurement, inventories, schedules, and student training
Requirements:
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in recreation, sports administration, or related field
- At least two years' sports or recreation customer service experience
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Availability for evenings and weekends as required
