This position supports trimming operations through job-site setup, debris removal, rigging, cleanup, and equipment maintenance. It offers newcomers to the tree industry training and opportunities to work toward certified arborist status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support groundwork for tree trimming operations
- Operate chainsaws and chippers while loading brush
- Assist crew leaders with job-site setup
- Remove debris, rake, and blow leaves from sites
- Rig down limbs and maintain equipment
Requirements:
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Willingness to pursue certified arborist status
- Ability to work safely within a crew
- Must be at least 18 years old
