Lead Food and Beverage operations across RED Mountain Resort and The Josie Hotel, using financial leadership and service standards. Work regularly across both properties in Rossland. As Director of Food and Beverage, you will lead dining, beverage, banquet, event, and après-ski operations across two distinct hospitality businesses. This hands-on leadership role requires budgeting, forecasting, labour management, inventory control, menu costing, and team development. You will strengthen standards, improve profitability, and preserve each property's unique character.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stabilize daily operations and establish management routines across both properties
- Lead budgets, forecasts, service strategies, and operating priorities
- Develop beverage, menu, event, and après-ski programs
- Recruit, coach, schedule, and retain seasonal employees
- Ensure food safety, responsible service, and brand standards
Requirements:
- Seven or more years of progressive Food and Beverage leadership
- Experience leading multiple outlets and hospitality department managers
- Budgeting, forecasting, labour, inventory, menu costing, and pricing experience
- Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifications, or timely completion
- Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods
