Protect TFS students and facilities as a Security Guard in Mississauga, using surveillance, emergency response, and customer service skills.
Reporting to the Security Manager, this full-time afternoon and evening position supports TFS employees, students, visitors, and rental groups. The long-term occasional contract runs from November 2026 through June 2027. Work takes place Monday to Friday, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at West Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol buildings and premises during key school and rental periods
- Respond to alarms, lockdowns, fire alarms, and emergencies
- Monitor rented facilities and address unauthorized access
- Maintain daily activity, incident, and rental records
- Support traffic, school events, and facility access procedures
Requirements:
- Secondary school completion or related vocational training
- Required security guard and private investigator basic training
- Two to three years of similar security experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Surveillance, fire inspection, and priority management abilities
