Tetra Digital Group is Canada's leading institutional digital asset infrastructure provider. As Canada's first and only regulated digital asset custodian, we've built the institutional foundation the market now demands. We're backed by notable names in Canadian finance and fintech.
We operate two interconnected businesses: Tetra Trust, our regulated custody arm; and CADD, a compliant on-chain payment rail backed 1:1 by Canadian dollars. In May 2026, we launched CADD - Canada's first CAD-backed stablecoin issued by a regulated financial institution.
The Role:
- You keep the promise behind every CADD. Every CADD in circulation is a promise: one token, one Canadian dollar, held in reserve and redeemable on demand.
- This is a genuine ownership role, not a back-office queue. You'll own how CADD gets minted, redeemed, reconciled, and reported.
- You’ll report to the Director of Operations, CADD and partner closely with our compliance, finance, legal, engineering, and partnerships leads.
What You’ll Own:
- Mint and redeem, end to end.
- Reserves and reconciliation.
- Client onboarding.
- Banking partners and vendors.
- Controls that constrain you, too.
- Operational risk and incident response.
- Reporting and evidence, automated.
- Metrics that mean something.
- The team that comes next.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in payments, treasury, banking, or fintech operations.
- Payments fluency.
- Reconciliation as a craft.
- Real KYC, KYB, and AML experience.
- A controlled mindset.
- You automate.
- Communication under pressure.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Crypto experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Extra points for:
- Experience with stablecoin, e-money, or prepaid issuance.
- CAMS or a similar AML or financial crime certification.
- Experience with SOC 2 Type II, reserve attestation, or provincial regulatory examination.
- Building an operations function from scratch.
- A strong opinion about weekend liquidity.
What You Get:
- $130,000-$185,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and paramedical coverage.
- $1,000 annual learning budget for compliance and payments certifications, courses, and conferences.
- Hybrid Toronto or Calgary - at least 3 days a week in the office.
- Generous vacation, and the cultural expectation that you actually take it.
- A front-row seat to Canada's digital dollar.
- A small, high-calibre team where your work is visible, your contributions are felt, and your growth is real.
A Note on Fit:
Tetra moves fast and the expectations are high. Holding both speed and regulatory compliance is the actual skill required for this role.
