As Vice President, Investment Management, you will guide mature, well-funded defined benefit strategies toward annuity purchases while overseeing growing defined contribution plans. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, you will serve as guardian of the investment process and advise the Audit Committee and Pension Committee. Your mandate combines scenario-based forecasting, asset-liability management, governance, and team leadership across more than 14 investment professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Lead semi-annual market reviews and asset mix implementation Oversee defined benefit de-risking and annuity purchase execution Direct defined contribution governance, options, and strategy Monitor performance, risk exposures, controls, and attribution models Report investment strategy and risk management quarterly Requirements:
Deep institutional investment, asset allocation, and ALM expertise Experience overseeing mature DB and expanding DC plans 10–15+ years of progressive investment leadership experience Multi-asset expertise spanning equities, fixed income, debt, alternatives Strong governance, communication, and professional team leadership Apply institutional investment leadership, pension de-risking, and governance expertise to TELUS Corporation’s evolving DB and DC plans.
