TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for an Application Architect/Lead Developer. This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto, Ontario, Hybrid (2 days on site, 3 days work from home).
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- 4+ hours per day on average spent in meetings
- Interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- No access to customer data
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
- 2+ years of experience as an Architect within IT OR 4+ years of prior Lead developer experience
- Experience defining solutions sets from requirements
- Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Experience presenting to large groups of people in person or virtually (50 people)
- Jira and Confluence experience
SOFT SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong sense of urgency and adaptive to changes
- Team player
- Working collaboratively with the business
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with Agentic AI solutions
- Amazon Solution Architect certification
- Experience within high regulated environment - Banking, Financial institution or medical
