This Project Coordinator supports Project Managers and Superintendents from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include planning, procurement, tender packages, permits, budgets, schedules, subcontract administration, billing, BIM/VDC coordination, and warranty deficiencies. The position requires organized communication and accurate project information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish preconstruction forms, KPIs, updates, and document controls
- Support planning, procurement, logistics, permits, and tender submissions
- Update budgets, schedules, cost reports, and productivity tracking
- Coordinate change orders, information requests, shop drawings, and approvals
- Assist billing, subcontract management, BIM/VDC, and project closeout
Requirements:
- One to three years of project coordinator experience
- Construction management or engineering degree considered an asset
- Experience with commercial, high rise, civil, or institutional construction
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, pressure, and challenges
