Trail, British Columbia, is the workplace. This regular full-time Superintendent, Electrical Engineering position reports to the Business Area Manager and leads a multidisciplinary engineering team. You will establish long-term asset management strategies, improve equipment reliability, and oversee engineering support for complex industrial operations. The position connects electrical standards, capital planning, operational performance, and regulatory compliance across Trail Operations. Key Responsibilities:
Direct electrical asset management and lifecycle stewardship strategies Improve equipment reliability through investigations and corrective actions Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and technical teams Provide technical governance for significant electrical initiatives Support emergent failures and minimize production impacts Requirements:
Ten years’ progressive experience in heavy industrial electrical engineering Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree or related qualification EGBC registration or eligibility as employment condition Experience leading engineering teams, programs, or technical initiatives Knowledge of predictive maintenance, asset systems, or CMMS considered asset Bring electrical reliability leadership, asset management knowledge, and industrial engineering experience to Teck’s Trail-based team.
