Shape Techo-Bloc events through venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and long-range planning across Canada and the United States. Work months ahead to prepare every stop.
As an Event Planning Specialist, you will map routes, compare venues, negotiate vendor terms, and coordinate event foundations. Your work supports two tours across approximately 40 cities, plus loyalty events and trade shows. You will manage budgets, calendars, milestones, and supplier relationships before handoff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map approved markets and source venues nine to twelve months ahead
- Run RFPs and negotiate venue and vendor rates
- Build relationships with venue partners and suppliers
- Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules
- Finalize contracts, BEOs, logistics, and supplier agreements
Requirements:
- Three to five years in event planning or coordination
- Hands-on experience negotiating with hotels or venues
- Experience with BEOs, supplier agreements, quotes, and payment terms
- Experience tracking budgets, purchase orders, and invoices
- Excellent French and English, plus valid license and passport
