This Industrial Mechanic position requires one to less than two years of experience and relevant technical education. You will assemble equipment, interpret blueprints, repair machinery, and maintain industrial systems. The work includes hydraulic systems, engines, pumps, and compressors across shopwork and installation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical equipment for maintenance and construction work
- Detect and troubleshoot machinery irregularities and malfunctions
- Read blueprints, drawings, maps, and specifications
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Install machinery and operate lifting equipment
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or related certificate or diploma
- One to less than two years of experience
- Experience with hydraulic systems and industrial engines
- Experience with pumps and compressors
- Ability to handle loads exceeding 45 kilograms
