Shape global transaction banking risk through complex transaction analysis and independent challenge at TD Securities. Toronto-based work supports GTB business teams. This Vice President role sits within GTB Risk, a first-line function supporting Trade & Working Capital, Corporate Cash Management, and Financial Institutions. You will partner with Origination and Product teams to assess client solutions, strategic initiatives, and transactions from design through execution. The work combines commercial judgement, structuring expertise, and risk assessment across legal, regulatory, credit, operational, and reputational considerations. Key Responsibilities:
Partner with GTB teams from early design through transaction execution Translate complex legal and regulatory issues into business recommendations Evaluate risk allocation, mitigants, exceptions, and policy alignment Assess emerging geopolitical, legal, regulatory, and market developments Promote consistent practices and strengthen transaction risk capabilities Requirements:
Five or more years originating, structuring, executing, or advising Relevant financial institution or law firm experience Knowledge of GTB products, financing structures, or related business areas Ability to explain complex matters and provide constructive challenge Law degree, MBA, CFA, accounting designation, or similar qualification advantageous Use structured finance, corporate banking, or legal expertise to strengthen risk decisions across TD’s global transaction banking platform.
