Build production-grade Ansible and Python automation for Windows Server deployment, configuration, compliance, and ongoing management at TD in Toronto.
This senior engineering role focuses on reusable automation across physical and virtual environments. You will apply modular, idempotent software practices while integrating Windows Server platforms with APIs, orchestration tools, configuration management, CMDB, and service-management systems. PowerShell supports Windows integration where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design automation for deployment, domain integration, and hardening
- Validate compliance, patch readiness, and ongoing server management
- Protect secrets and implement testing, error handling, and rollback
- Integrate automation with enterprise platforms and APIs
- Review code and communicate technical risks and dependencies
Requirements:
- Substantial Ansible and/or Python automation development experience
- Strong modular, idempotent, tested engineering practices
- PowerShell experience for Windows Server integration
- Eight-plus years supporting complex enterprise Windows environments
- Relevant Microsoft, Red Hat Ansible, or Python certification preferred
