Toromont Cat seeks a licensed Heavy Equipment Technician with three to five years of trade experience. You will service Caterpillar equipment and components while supporting safety, customer satisfaction, and accurate reporting. The work includes mechanical and electrical diagnosis, repairs, communication, and assignments supporting customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
- Repair and service Caterpillar and heavy equipment
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports promptly
- Maintain customer relations through frequent communication
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound work behaviours
Requirements:
- Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- Three to five years of trade experience
- Basic knowledge of cutting, welding, and fabrication
- Ability to read prints, drawings, and technical bulletins
- Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract
