Role Description:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and modify online and batch applications.
- Create and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
- Perform impact analysis for application enhancements and production issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Support production systems, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
- Prepare technical documentation, program specifications, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during project implementation and release cycles.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
