Our client in the professional services sector has a need for a Senior Accountant to join their established team. This is an excellent environment where you will work with a supportive, friendly team.
About The Role
- Working alongside and supporting the Administration office, you would report into the CFO.
- Your duties would include but not be limited to:
- Accounts receivable and collections
- Billing administration and cash applications
- Semi-monthly staff payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and government remittances
- General accounting duties including accounts payable and bank reconciliations
- Budgeting and revenue reports including monthly cash reports, financial reports and investment summaries
- Ad-hoc work as requested by Administration
Systems used: Sage 300, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
About The Candidate
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general accounting role with receivables and payroll responsibilities
- Similar ERP experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong aptitude in learning new technology tools
- A GREAT attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communications skills are MANDATORY
- You must be tactful, respectful, dependable and reliable.
