Roofer
Edmonton, AB | $28–$37 per hour
We're looking for a Roofer with commercial flat roofing experience to join our client's team in Edmonton. This role suits someone who takes pride in quality installation, works safely, and contributes to a reliable crew.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace commercial flat and low-slope roofing systems.
- Prepare roof surfaces, complete tear-offs, and install insulation and roofing membranes.
- Install flashing and waterproofing details around roof edges, drains, and penetrations.
- Identify and report leaks, damage, and deficiencies.
- Safely handle roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean job site and follow fall protection and site safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial flat roofing considered an asset.
- Experience with roofing systems such as SBS torch-on, TPO, EPDM, or built-up roofing considered an asset.
- Attention to detail when completing seams, flashing, and waterproofing.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in changing weather.
- Able to lift and carry materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work well with a crew.
- Relevant safety training and certifications are an asset.
Compensation
$28–$37 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
