Start: December 2026 / January 2027
Contract or Full-Time
We are supporting a confirmed Charles River implementation engagement within the investment management industry and are looking for 3β5 experienced Senior Business Analysts with direct, hands-on CRD configuration and/or systems integration experience.
IMPORTANT:
Our client is prioritizing professionals who have actively contributed to CRD configuration, integration, implementation, or enhancement activities β rather than candidates with only functional exposure or end-user experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead business analysis activities across Charles River IMS implementation and integration workstreams.
Work directly with CRD configuration teams, developers, architects, portfolio managers, traders, and investment operations.
Support the configuration and enhancement of investment workflows within Charles River.
Analyze and document CRD integration requirements, including interfaces, data mappings, and upstream/downstream system dependencies.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, configuration requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Support order management, trade lifecycle, compliance, and investment data workflows.
Participate in system integration testing (SIT), UAT, defect investigation, and production readiness activities.
Help resolve complex business, data, and system integration issues.
Must-Have Experience
Senior-level Business Analysis experience in asset management, wealth management, pension funds, or investment technology.
Direct hands-on Charles River (CRD / Charles River IMS) configuration and/or integration experience.
Practical involvement in CRD implementation, enhancement, or integration delivery - not just business-side coordination.
Experience translating investment workflows into actionable CRD configuration or technical integration requirements.
Strong understanding of order management systems (OMS), trade lifecycle processes, and front-/middle-office investment operations.
Ability to work independently with technical delivery teams and investment business stakeholders.
Highly Desirable
CRD configuration of investment workflows, compliance rules, or trading-related functionality.
CRD integration with IBOR, investment accounting, market data, or other investment platforms.
Experience with position, holdings, transaction, and reference data interfaces.
Data mapping, interface specifications, API or file-based integrations.
Previous participation in end-to-end CRD implementations or major transformations.
We're particularly interested in professionals who can clearly explain what they configured, integrated, implemented, or delivered within Charles River.
