You will partner with patients and families while collaborating with the clinical team. Your practice includes autonomous nursing actions, care planning, evaluation, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Complete nursing histories from available patient information
- Create and document goal-oriented nursing care plans
- Accurately follow prescribed medical regimes
- Revise care plans using professional judgment
Requirements:
- Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
- Current CPR certification
- Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BSc.N. preferred
