Job Description
Our client, a prominent construction firm with locations inKitchener and London, Ontario, is seeking two Residential Buildings PipingDesigners who possess over four years of experience in a comparable position.The organization is expanding and requires your expertise.
Your experience you bring will include:
- Exposure to HVAC, fire protection, or broaderMEP systems
- Experience in consulting engineeringenvironments
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and coordinate plumbing designdrawings for permit and construction under the direction of the ProjectEngineer or Project Lead.
- Lead or assist in developing design briefs,verification requirements, and project checklists to ensure quality andcompliance with standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, andinternal teams to maintain design intent and project milestones.
- Review and issue shop drawings and supportconstruction services with site reviews and technical clarification.
- Attend design and coordination meetings;record and distribute meeting minutes to the MEP Project Lead.
- Other related duties as assigned by thePlumbing or MEP Division Leads.

Required Skills / Experience
- Diploma or post-secondary education in Mechanical Technology, Architectural Technology, Building Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Revit experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend project sites when required
