CoveredRx is a digital health company focused on delivering fast, accessible, and patient-centred care through modern telemedicine workflows. We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia to provide asynchronous (text-based) prescription review and management for low-acuity conditions. This role is ideal for NPs looking for flexible, remote work with minimal scheduling constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Review patient-submitted medical questionnaires asynchronously
- Assess eligibility for treatment based on established clinical protocols
- Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate
- Identify cases requiring escalation to synchronous care or physician review
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Ensure adherence to BC clinical and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia (active and in good standing with BC College of Nurses and Midwives)
- Authorized to prescribe medications in BC
- Experience in primary care, telemedicine, or walk-in clinic settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and risk assessment skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment
- Familiarity with digital health platforms is an asset
Compensation:

All care delivery must comply with guidelines set by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and applicable provincial regulations regarding virtual care and prescribing.
Pay: $41.27-$98.19 per hour
