Coordinate independent nuclear safety reviews remotely for CNL, supporting Chalk River Laboratory through technical evaluation and stakeholder communication. As a Nuclear Safety Specialist, you will coordinate reviews for the Safety Review Committee and Nuclear Criticality Safety Panel. The work includes nuclear safety analysis, nuclear criticality safety, regulatory documentation, and stakeholder coordination. You will support formal acceptance of submissions after review comments are resolved. Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor Honours degree in engineering or nuclear-associated science Significant experience in nuclear facilities, safety, or technology Experience in nuclear safety analysis and criticality safety preferred Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and diplomatic communication skills Reliability Status and Site Access Security Clearance eligibility Bring nuclear safety analysis, criticality safety, and technical review expertise to CNL’s remote Chalk River-supported team.
