Shape financial ecosystem architecture strategy for Systematix and a public sector client, applying enterprise architecture and financial services expertise. This is a one-year contract with possible extension. The Principal Financial Ecosystem Architect will advise on Consumer-Driven Banking, Stablecoin, and related initiatives. The work covers operating models, governance frameworks, application programming interfaces, trust frameworks, digital identity, and secure ecosystem participation. The engagement is expected to start in December 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advisory services for CDB and Stablecoin initiatives
- Guide financial ecosystem architecture, operating models, and governance frameworks
- Evaluate API architectures and interoperability approaches
- Assess trust, identity, authentication, and accreditation models
- Prepare architectural assessments, briefings, and recommendations
Requirements:
- Active Government of Canada Secret Level II clearance
- Degree or diploma in technology, business, finance, or related discipline
- At least 10 years of recent enterprise architecture experience
- Financial ecosystem, banking, payments, fintech, or market infrastructure experience
- Experience with FAPI, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, mTLS, PKI, and Azure
- Bring senior enterprise architecture judgment, financial ecosystem knowledge, and secure integration expertise to Systematix’s public sector engagement.
