Design HVAC electrical systems in Mississauga using Promise.e and AutoCAD Electrical while supporting manufacturing projects and client requirements. Full-time salaried work serves the Toronto Area.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this Engineering Designer creates electrical and mechanical schematics for HVAC units. The work combines control panel drawings, project coordination, technical documentation, and production support. You will manage assigned scope, schedules, materials, and technical issues across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create wiring and control panel drawings in Promise.e or AutoCAD Electrical
- Coordinate multidisciplinary drawing packages with engineering, design, and operations
- Prepare bills of materials using Visual Manufacturing
- Provide technical support to production, sales, and service
- Maintain parts, drawings, and safety certification files
Requirements:
- Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent experience
- Two to three years creating control panel electrical drawings
- Proficiency with Promise.e and AutoCAD Electrical
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety laws, and HVAC standards
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and ERP software
