Syensqo is seeking a Senior Site Process Engineer to lead process improvements at our Cytec Canada Inc site in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
This role emphasizes process safety, manufacturing optimization, and design excellence.
In this senior engineering role, you will deliver technical leadership to enhance safety, compliance, and productivity.
Your expertise will involve contributing to various initiatives, including developing process diagrams, conducting engineering calculations, and facilitating capital projects.
Working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams will be key to improving overall operational performance.
Key
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives focusing on manufacturing excellence
- Develop and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering documentation
- Perform mass and energy balance calculations for processes
- Support FEL/stage-gate capital projects from concept to optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve plant operating issues collaboratively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineer designation in Ontario
- Minimum 10 years experience in chemical manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management practices
- Expertise in process simulation software like Aspen HYSYS
