Sword is recruiting seasonal guards for its front line event security team. The work focuses on creating safe, enjoyable concert experiences while maintaining order and following venue protocols. You will monitor crowds, screen guests, assist visitors, and communicate with event control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor entrances, exits, crowd movement, and behaviour
- Conduct bag checks and metal detector screenings
- Enforce venue rules, ticketing policies, and security procedures
- Assist guests with directions, lost items, and inquiries
- Communicate clearly with security teams and event control
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of security experience in British Columbia
- Valid British Columbia Security Worker licence
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Availability for weekends and shifts up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
