Under the Station Manager, the Duty Manager efficiently manages and directs ramp activities. This position oversees daily operations, staff assignments, scheduling, and performance standards across ground handling services. The role also supports payroll updates, Dayforce administration, employee coaching, and station quality, health, safety, and environmental activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily ramp operations and staff assignments
- Plan manpower, equipment, and operational schedules efficiently
- Maintain customer, company safety, and quality standards
- Monitor and report agreed key performance indicators
- Coach employees and support station safety activities
Requirements:
- Minimum three years' ground handling or ramp service experience
- Personnel management experience in a unionized environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken English communication
- Valid driver's license and airside permit D/A
- Flexible availability for day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
