As an Assistant Instructor, you will support S&T Strength Instructors during group classes. You will guide movement, provide modifications, demonstrate exercises, and encourage members throughout training. This opportunity suits kinesiology students or graduates, newly certified trainers, emerging fitness professionals, and candidates with relevant coaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support instructors delivering exceptional Strength class experiences
- Coach movement quality, technique, and exercise execution
- Provide modifications and progressions for varied fitness levels
- Demonstrate exercises and assist with class transitions
- Build relationships and contribute to the S&T community
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in movement and exercise technique
- Confidence demonstrating exercises with form and control
- Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
- Fitness certification, relevant education, or coaching experience
- Availability for two to four three-hour weekly shifts
