Performance Leadership: Full scope. Hands on. We need a senior performance media lead to step in and run our performance media function for six to eight weeks while our day to day lead is in-and-out on a well deserved break. We’re looking for someone to cover the same ground as a full time hire and get stuck in: you lead the team, own the client relationships and keep budgets on track. You'll sit across our Search, Paid Social and Programmatic effort every day — building, auditing, troubleshooting and optimizing — not dropping in when something breaks. You'll join a 20-person media team with 3-5 direct reports and live accounts across multiple clients. By the end of week one (with some remote onboardings from our in-role lead) you'll know where every account stands, what's underperforming and what's being done about it.

Super Proper is a multi-disciplinary advertising studio uniting creative, insight and performance experts under one roof. Launched in November 2024, we already work with Audi, Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson, Planet Fitness, FanDuel, UFC & WWE and more across US and Canadian markets. You'll work alongside a 28+ person creative and content studio, social strategists, CRM experts and our media planning team who sit across both Tadiem Inc. (our parent company) and Bensimon Byrne - one of Canada’s most long-standing advertising success stories.

What you'll do

  • Run the platforms: Manage Google Ads and Microsoft Ads hands-on — account structure, bidding, keyword and search-query management, Performance Max and Smart Bidding. Build and optimize across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Snap — Advantage+ setup, audiences, creative rotation and pacing. Run display and YouTube — setup, inventory and brand safety, frequency and deal management. Diagnose delivery issues, learning-phase resets, disapprovals and sudden performance drops — then fix them. Make bid, budget, audience and creative calls on a daily and weekly cadence, with a rationale the team and clients can follow.
  • Lead the team and clients: Direct 3–5 performance and AdOps / activation staff — set priorities, unblock, QA their work and coach in the flow of work. Be the senior media voice on client calls. Present results, recommend budget and platform shifts, and handle tough conversations with confidence. Oversee spend across multiple clients — pacing, reallocation and forecasting against targets. Brief creative for performance and feed test results back into what gets made next. Leave every account documented — current status, open issues, live tests and next steps.
  • Own reporting and measurement: Oversee and check weekly and monthly performance reporting across clients — delivered on time, accurate, and with clear commentary. Maintain and QA client dashboards in Looker Studio. Audit and troubleshoot conversion tracking across GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and Google enhanced conversions. Explain gaps between platform-reported, GA4 and client source-of-truth data. Keep live A/B, lift and incrementality tests on track, interpret results correctly and turn them into optimization decisions.

What you bring

  • 8+ years in performance media, including at least 3 years leading teams in an agency or brand-side environment.
  • Current, daily platform fluency: you're in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager now.
  • Solid working knowledge of LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snap and programmatic DSPs.
  • Strong in GA4 and GTM.
  • Experience with incrementality testing or MMM outputs is a plus.
  • Speed to competence: you've stepped into live accounts before and been productive within days.
  • Senior presence: confident leading a team you've just met and running client calls from week one.
  • Creative understanding: you know how platform algorithms reward formats and how to brief creative for performance.
  • Hands-on results: recent examples of programs you ran yourself that moved ROAS, CAC or revenue.
  • Availability: able to start at short notice and commit full-time for 6–8 weeks.
