Lead mine maintenance at Suncor’s Fort Hills site using equipment reliability and safety leadership skills. Work a camp-based seven-on, seven-off rotation. As Team Lead, Mine Maintenance, you will guide a skilled team maintaining haul trucks, shovels, and auxiliary equipment. You will support safe, reliable, efficient operations through daily coordination, troubleshooting knowledge, and accurate planning feedback. The position requires leadership experience, SAP skills, and a Red Seal Journeyperson credential. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise employees and contractors completing scheduled maintenance activities Lead daily toolbox and monthly safety meetings Remove work roadblocks affecting maintenance task execution Provide completion feedback and workforce forecasting information Collaborate with supervisors, reliability, operations, and management teams Requirements:
Minimum five years’ progressive mine maintenance experience Extensive knowledge of mine mobile equipment maintenance Proven leadership experience guiding teams and priorities Valid Alberta or Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson High school diploma or GED and strong SAP skills Bring mine maintenance leadership, mobile equipment expertise, and safety focus to Suncor’s Fort Hills mining operation.
