Within Retail Advice & Solutions, you will provide timely financial information supporting management decisions. You will allocate operating expenses by product group, analyze gain/gap drivers, calculate unit costs, and lead planning for insurance and wealth. The role partners with valuation actuaries, Finance, Operations, and the Client Experience Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare gain/gap, unit cost, commission, and business review deliverables
- Analyze results, variances, and key performance drivers
- Lead annual planning, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting
- Lead the Retail Advice & Solutions Expense Study
- Mentor staff and perform financial modelling
Requirements:
- Five to seven years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication for explaining complex financial concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Hyperion report building
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
