As Assistant Vice President, Threat and Vulnerability Management, you will lead Sun Life’s global capability across vulnerability management, threat intelligence, application security, and offensive and defensive security. You will oversee technical teams and enterprise-scale programs spanning red teaming, blue team operations, incident management, and application security testing. The role partners across Security Engineering and Advisory, Technology Risk and Compliance, Security Operations, and governance functions. Your work will reduce enterprise attack surface, strengthen compliance, and improve measurable cyber resilience. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the enterprise vulnerability lifecycle and remediation governance Lead threat intelligence collection, analysis, hunting, and operationalization Direct red team and defensive security capabilities Govern incident response processes, playbooks, and readiness exercises Deliver security metrics, briefings, and regulatory reporting Requirements:
15+ years of cybersecurity experience Enterprise security program and technical team leadership experience Expertise in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or application security Experience with regulated industries, audits, regulators, and client assurance Reliability Status Clearance required before employment begins Bring executive leadership, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and cyber resilience expertise to Sun Life’s global security organization.
